First Annual Poetry Slam Wows

Lawrenceville’s English Department hosted its first ever Poetry Slam competition from 6:15 PM to 8:15 PM in the McGraw Reading Room of the Bunn Library this past Thursday. The evening featured 20 student performances, three of which were delivered by student guest performers Deven Kinney ’20, Arya Singh ’20, and Gabby Medina ’21. In addition, Kayla Miller ’19 served as the emcee of the event, and Santi Parra ’20 was the DJ.
